SUPERFAN AMELIA PAYS HOMAGE TO GREAT CONTENT AND ITS CREATORS FOR GETTING HER THROUGH LOCKDOWN

Amelia Gething, actor and creator of the BBC’s ‘The Amelia Gething Complex’, has struggled being a superfan over the past year amidst multiple stints at home.

But in a hilarious new short film, she shares her attempts to show the adoration she has for her favourite musician as his number one socially distant fan, whilst at the same time pays homage to her favourite content and the stars within it that have got her through lockdown. From TV painting and meme sensation Bob Ross to DC Comics icon Harley Quinn, it’s great films, music, TV, games and sports like this that have got us all through tough times.

Here’s to hoping that fans will be able to show their support to the people behind their favourite content this summer, whether that’s at gigs or cinemas (just watch out for Amelia in the front row!). But in the meantime, the new film shares a crucial message that the best way to support all the people in these amazing UK creative industries, is to get it right from a genuine site.
